Heh. Doesnt realy bother me. It was just another one of those threads. The ones that you post anything in because the topic is done.

I take no issue with a thread being locked that needed to be locked. Example: That Mr Loki thread (gaaawd whatta moron he is)

But locking a thread just for the sake of locking a thread and exercising his "mod muscles" is what causes people to have no faith in the mods and complain about abuse.

It doesn't affect me personally one way or the other but abuse is abuse no matter how you slice it.

I have no doubts that I am the only one who holds this particular opinion and that's fine too. But it still irks me...

I do not care to get in a pissing match with you Noah. For the most part I take no issue with your moderatory actions. Everything has its exceptions and this one happens to be one for me.

I disagree with it. /story.

You didn't ask my opinion before doing it (or anyone else's I would imagine) so I will assume that my opinion is of no consequence to either you or anyone else in this regard.

I'm not flexing and "mod muscles" mind you. I am doing my job. I am closing a completely useless thread that is FAR off topic (when it wasn't even created in the OT forum). So, that is WELL within the rules that are set forth on this fancy forum. Seen here.

So, please kind sir, tell me where I am lost on this. Where have I done something, just because I could.

What was taking place in that thread, easily takes place in here instead.

I do not know where it was created. I didn't pay close attention to which subforum it was in when it first came to be. It got moved to the Lounge, however (though I do not know by whom) so closing it simply because it was an OT thread doesn't particularly set well with me.

Like I said earlier.....if that is the case then why is Flammable Jello not locked? People can conversate in here, after all.

It was created in the General Discussion forum.

FlamJam is an OG thread, created before your time. It stays, b/c it is a place for complete and utter randomness, usually unlike a conversation thread. It has stuck around, b/c of the cult that supports it, and it shall stay... it is... grandfathered in... I guess you could say, into the Lounge.

Just as you were voicing your disagreement, I was voicing my concern... wondering why it TRULY bothered anyone.

We shall leave it at that.

I will however, try an experiment. We shall see.

My muscles are tired, so I better watch it.
