No, it supposed to be here tomorrowSUPA - you ever get that 4 ga & 1/ott?
Happened to me in the van once on the highway...I managed to limp into an Applebee's parking lot for a tow. Wasn't a cheap fix, IIRC...While your driving, you suddenly lose power and you can hear and feel a knocking at the gas pedal and the jeep bucks like a horse. It puts along.
Hmmm...deatils on the fix? Money isn't an issue(I'm not paying for itHappened to me in the van once on the highway...I managed to limp into an Applebee's parking lot for a tow. Wasn't a cheap fix, IIRC...
Thanks again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifPer the ODI (government Office of Defects Investigation):
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/tsb/results.cfm (78 TSB's found for '00 Venture).

Hmm...wish I could help you more, it was around 30K miles ago, so my memory is a little shaky. I do remember being very pissed at the gas station where I filled up, because it acted up literally a mile after I got on the highway...so it was definitely fuel related.Hmmm...deatils on the fix?
IIRC the 4.0L cherokee's shared the same pump unit as the Grand's 4.0L & 5.2L (not 5.9L). If so, then you are looking at ~$270. The pump, pickup, sending unit is one unit. Drop the tank, clean the top, swap them & re mount tank.My jeeps in the shop and I'm stuck here at the house.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifI think there's something wrong with the fuel pump, or system. Maybe one of the sensors. TPS? While your driving, you suddenly lose power and you can hear and feel a knocking at the gas pedal and the jeep bucks like a horse. It puts along. In the past year, it's become a money pit.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
LoLNo, it supposed to be here tomorrow1/0 eh, was that the suprise ?
Agreed on the Chrysler. blah. Thanks again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Talked to my dad when I was on lunch......asked him if he knew of any problems with the 3.4L's (open ended question...see if he would guess it right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ). He said the only problems he was aware of was oil leakage (LIM as mentioned), and most were fixed under warranty. And he has a 3.4L in his Pontiac Transport.....so, I figure, if he's comfortable owning one, then I shouldn't have much worry either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
And atleast the LIM problem isn't as bad as Chrysler/Dodge's late '90s transmission problems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I'd rather spend $300 on a gasket than $3000 on a new ******.
She's horible in idle. Gets to the point of where she almost cuts off and then she comes back to life. In drive, she's even worse, while holding down the brake, tries to lunge forward. I've already replaced the distro. cap, plugs, wires, O2 sensor, water pump, vaccuum lines.IIRC the 4.0L cherokee's shared the same pump unit as the Grand's 4.0L & 5.2L (not 5.9L). Though, I dont think that your problems are strictly fuel pump. She only does it while in gear or driving?
