Was out on a date tonite.. We went to play some pool, which isn't a bad idea for a first date I've found since it gives you a good chance to check them out and it's usually pretty casual.. I kicked her ***, but it was fun and she was a good sport about it.. I tried to let her win a couple times, but she kept missing.. It was fun tho, and I think we're doing it again.. what do you guys think of this home theatre reciever? just bought it to go along with my 2 tower speakers and my tempest.

If it's just for music, then it's a decent piece.. Yamaha makes a good solid receiver.. It's older, but I bet it still works like new.. for $79, meh, it's not bad, especially for the remote and everything..

ya music and dvd's, whats bad about dolby pro logic? im usin it to put together a 2.1 system maybe 5.1 in the future so dont need anything real fancy

i also watch a lot of vhs tapes so the prologic should be alright for me, and im only used to haveing tv sound anyway so its a big upgrade no matter what for me.

I'm still rockin' a years-old Technics that only has Pro Logic.

It works well enough for me as my center channel and surround speakers are pretty clean.

ive got some kenwood towers that go with it

use it in the garage
