I had an '84 Isuzu Impulse once that I paid $1,300 for. It got clipped by a U-Haul truck while parked at my work and U-Haul's adjuster, after giving the car a thorough going-over, looks me in the eye and says "I can only authorize they pay you $1,650 if you want to keep the car." It's actually not that much of an upgrade from a D300.. The thing that always bugged me about the D300 was no removeable faceplate..
