I don't listen to Rush. He's incredibly arrogant and as a result I cannot so much as even tolerate he sound of his voice.

I'm more into Hannity and O'Reilly for national shows and there's a guy named Bill Proveda (sp?) who has a local show out of Baton Rouge that I listen to when I'm in the right part of the state at the time his show is on.

I like Hannity 'cause he does so much stuff for the troops and I have much respect for anyone who will go out of their way to support our fighting men and women in uniform. (I'm an Army brat ~ what can I say?)

He holds a concert every year that he calls the "Freedom Concert" and he gets all kinds of country acts to come and play, Ted Nugent is there every year, Col. Oliver North generally puts in an appearance, etc etc etc....

Anyway ~ 100% of the net profit from the concert goes into a scholarship fund for any children left behind by fallen soldiers who have died in combat defending our great nation. I think that's cool as hell, personally.

I became a talk radio junkie almost by necessity.

I'm in a truck rolling up and down the highway most days and I rarely, if ever, get the chance to watch any TV.

The work truck only has a crappy Durabrand tape deck. In certain parts of the state the only music stations you can pick up clearly are zydeco/cajun stuff or Mexican and neither of those is a favored pick of mine so I migrated to talk radio on the AM bands.

Workin', my friend. My normal workday is around 15 hours more often than not and when I get home all I wanna do is take a shower to get the stink off of me and hit the bed.

Tuesday I had some kind of 24 bug and didn't so much as get out of bed unless absolutely necessary.

Stained some boards today. Had the boards outside sitting in the sun to dry.
