Nothing yet, they're not installed. I'm waiting until I get my plan laid out before I buy a Xover or another amp. I'll be putting my Z6's on my 551x, and hopefully another 551x for the mids, but if I'm too poor for that this summer then I'll just get something I can afford. Any suggestions on a Xover?
I've been looking at the H701, and probably will get that when I get the extra cash. How bad of an idea would it be to bandpass the XXX's at 60-200 hz and have the Z6's high passed from 60 hz on up?get an alpine H701 and that'll take care of all your processing plus you can run 4-way active, or you could get a coustic xm6. the only problem is that you'd prolly wanna band-pass the xxx's at around 60-200 hz. which then highpassing your Z6's at 200 hz. might not be so great
i would run just one set of mids. another set of them would just add to the trouble. sell them and buy some 4.5'' and cross them at 200-2k mids- 80-200 and then tweets 2k-8kget an alpine H701 and that'll take care of all your processing plus you can run 4-way active, or you could get a coustic xm6. the only problem is that you'd prolly wanna band-pass the xxx's at around 60-200 hz. which then highpassing your Z6's at 200 hz. might not be so great
