I was a bus boy for 6 months before I got moved up to waiter in high school. It does **** being everyone's *****, but everybody has to start somewhere.

I was a bus boy once. It was ok I guess. Helping the waitresses close at the end of the night sucked ***. But we used to tell the waitresses kisss our ***, they used to try to bitch us around a lot. There was so much drama there it was ridiculous.

Yup, restaurants are drama central, especially working with a bunch of women. I made about $30-$35 on a weeknight in tips (10% from each waitress, some more, some less), and about $50 on a Friday or Saturday night. It sucked because I had to work 12 hour days on Sunday; 11:00am - 11:00pm.

And breaks were non-existant. A break happened only when you could sit down for a second to tie your shoe or something. I worked at a busy chinese restaurant and the asian cooks were awesome, but you always have to watch out for those asian ladies because they can kick your *** if you're not careful.

They used to start shit with us all the time if we (bus boys - 3 black men) tried to take a break. Usually we went in the kitchen to take breaks becuz - Cooks - all black males Waitresses - all white women. Out in the dining area it was country music, and in the kitchen was rap of course. I got paid $6.50 and hour and we only got $4 from each waitress a night. There was supposed to be a percentage, but when by the time I got there they had already worked some deal out.

Thats true. I was yelling at the screen whiel watching hills have eyes. That movie made me so mad.
