2nd year. We have a 5-year program.oooo EE in the hizzouse, junior or sophomore?
mmm, I'm in my first year, we're guaranteed to get out in 4 years as long as we stay on track. Staying on track means we take the classes we are told to, and pass them. We have no art classes, very few social science classes. It's all engineering, and we have a trimester based system, 10 weeks of school, 1 week of finals. Real expensive, but they have a 98% placement rate after graduation with an average starting salary of 60k/year. If you graduate that is...this years ee class started with 78 4 years ago, now down to 32 :-/. I hope I make it.2nd year. We have a 5-year program.

That's cool, we don't have mandatory co-op but most people are able to get an internship quite easily. I'm hoping to be able to go to Germany my junior year. It's a sweet deal, stay in Germany for a year, everything is the same price, but you get a degree from the school in Germany as well as from MSOE. You also graduate on time and it looks great on a resume.Indeed.
Our's is a 5-year program becuase we have mandatory co-op. Late second year we begin alternating paid co-op and class quarters. Therefore, we go to class 10weeks w/ 1week of finals, then Co-op 10weeks... alternating back and forth. We then no longer get a full summer break //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif... but oh well. .. We'll come out with a B.S. and over 1.5 years of REAL world experience. Our placement rate and starting salary is around the same as yours as well.
