lol, oh. nevermind then, i wouldn't try it on a laptop, they have a hard enough time keeping them cool as it is. you could still try overclocking it slightly. you'll know if it's too much for it because it just won't start when to reload it. but yeah, p4 2.6ghz are really good overclockers because they use the same core as the 3.2 ghz one.

no, amd totally rules over pentium. but that doesn't mean that p4 2.4's are bad overclockers. i'd totally take the amd first. actually, by the same reasoning that the p4 is a good overclocker, i'd rather have the amd xp2500+ since it has the same core(barton) as the 3200+, although the 3200+ has a 400mb fsb while the 2500+ has the 333mb fsb.
