Yea fantomas so basically your saying I have enough room there or no? On the topic of shocker ss subs are crappy....tell me why the f*ck they are so widely used and so many people wanna get their hands on them? the jl audio 15w3 when it came out was the big thing and people wanted it....the shocker ss 15 is better and compairable to the 15w6 which is discontinued.....so at 150$ for the pair can you complain for better bass response then a renowned company? at a fraction of the cost? No im not putting jl down, but I know their prices are high...

agreed, that price is really awesome. But, you just have to decide for yourself: do you want an SPL project or do you want a nice-sounding low-end system?

Well as wonderbread clearly stated my ears ring for the bass....(bass head) so I would be after all spl with my doors used for the mids/highs.....lol if I could get a pair of jl 15w3 for 150$ shipped....I would probably give them a try...Not gonna happen though.

No actually its the same backround idea of rebuilting a engine....you order a rebuild kit and you can do it yourself if you have time and patience, because it comes with directions so you can learn yourself...if not you would have to pay to get it done, but still would be cheaper than buying a new one.
