Well to be honest the kenwood shouldnt be that bad, but the rockwood amp...lol worse than legacy. I seen a brand new rockwood 500watt amp for 50$. The new rockwood, and american pro subs look pretty tight, but I doubt they sound the same. Take a look in the car audio magazine with dudes car spittin out 13 foot flames on the audiobahn subs there you will see the rockwood sub, speaker, and amp on page 107.

well thanx for all the willingness to help and hospitable attitudes. but the truth is, its a time issue. i really dont have time to come here every day, much less try to read and figure some of this stuff out. i think i will this summer tho, there are a few car audio junkies in my huge town of 7000 people that would probly be willin to teach me some stuff. anyways, i guess ill just use that rockwood amp till i can sell it and buy a better one.

one more question, are rockwood amps better than jensen amps? because my friend is using a 300 watt jensen amp, and it doesnt sound as horrible as others make it out to be. just wondering.
