hey i bought a kenwood 12'' today at a sale, and a rockwood 500 watt amp.

anyone know how good kenwood subs are and how good that amp will be?

i got both of them and a box for a pretty good price, i figure this will hold me off till i can get something good. but i was just wondering how well this settup will do.

na, its not a tornado. its a 700 watt sub, 4ohms, i think its pretty decent, im at a friends house so i dont kno the model numbers and stuff. but i figure the sub is probably kenwoods middle quality, not the best but not the worst, ya know?

is rockwood a respectable brand? or is it just another legacy type thing with a different name?

its silver. and even tho that amp "sucks shit" will it still give me some decent bass? i know im not gonna have anything fancy, but i just want some bass.

ill go hit up kenwoods site and see how much i saved on that sub by catchin it at a sale.

and the only reason u see me in this thread only, is because, i dont know shit about caraudio lol, or not enough to do good anywhere else. i kno more than the average person, but less than the average car audio junkie. i dont kno what ohms means. lol
