THE Thread

I couldnt tell if you were being sarcastic or not haha.
Imma SIGINT analyst though, dealth with a little morse in Korea, it was whack.
I was being sarcastic...I meant that if you weren't completly sure of the answer, best to pass the blame to someone else //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm alright with it...I can copy around 10wpm in my head or so, but hardly impressive when the old Amateur Extra license used to require 20wpm solid copy, and most radiotelegraph ops were around 45wpm with semiautomatic keys. I don't use it often though...mostly when I'm trying to talk to a station and voice doesn't get through the muck, I'll go over to CW and give him a call. Most of the time, that will get through.

SIGINT, huh...you guys get some neat toys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I've always wanted an old Collins R-390A, probably the best shortwave receiver ever built for AM reception.

I could have gotten pwnt by my history teacher today...I've behind by about two chapters in this book we're supposed to be reading, and who the hell knows behind in the actual textbook.

He's an incredible lecturer though...exactly the dry, sardonic sense of humor that we need more of in this world //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Problem is, I pay attention in class and do absolutely nothing outside of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I always pass the blame...instantly, sometimes even before there is any blame. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I am terrible with morse. It was very annoying to listen to.... static beep, static beep sbteaeetipc. Was that a beep or what?

Only a few neat toys. Out here theres a few that I wouldnt mind having back home...your calls would never be safe.....ever. Theres gotta be stuff out there that can be made like the stuff we have. The seals that are here with us have a lot of nice stuff.

They aren't now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Motorola EDACS is incredibly easy to monitor, it functions exactly like any big trunking network does...the only problem is, cell phones are incredibly boring to listen to 99% of the time. Think of that annoying girl standing next to you regaling the caller on the other end, and the entire population of the coffee shop, about her life's crippling problems like the cost of shoes. That's what it is, except from a distance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The digital encryption isn't anything special, much as the manufacturers like to tell you it is...but there's so much traffic still on analog that most of the time it isn't needed. People really have no clue how unsecure their conversations are...

I bet the SEALs have neat toys. I've always wanted a personal supply of flashbangs...I can think of so many practical uses for those in my everyday life //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Awww man, artillery simulators and star clusters.......i "found" a few of those back in GA after a field exercise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Dont know what Im going to do with them yet....
