I don't know what I would call it, JAZN, if I didn't know what GM called it. It's the OEM factory color, GM paint code 72U, specifically named 'Crimson Cloak Mica'

I have a buddy that has a custom paint and body shop at his house ~ he's been in the biz for better than 25 years now but has only had his own business for about 12.

When I first got the little car it had hail damage covering it so bad it looked like someone had gone over it pretty liberally with a ball peen hammer. He took out all the hail damage and the few small accident remnants that were present, put 4 coats of paint over everywhere there was bodywork then 8 coats of paint over the whole car followed by 4 coats of clear. Cost me a total of materials + $100 for his labor. Not bad for a quality job with PPG paint, I didn't think.

It was his idea to color-match the side molding that runs down the doors so it blended better with the bodyline. (was originally just flat black)
