THE Thread

Ok, i've done just about everything i can think off too get rid of the dreaded whine. I think i've concluded its my h/u RCA outputs, because the rear speakers run off the harness and they have no whine. and when i unplug the rcas from the back off the h/u it stops. Does anyone know what would cause this or how i can fix it.

The only thing I can think of, is in some electronics you can take a magnet and wrap the wire around it once or twice and that can reduce or eliminate noise in the lines..... If you have anything like that around you might try it out?

Do you know the exact name for it and is it something i could pick up at radioshack? I'm desperate.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Well the one's I have seen were called "ferrite loops". It's about the size of a quarter and shaped like a donut, they make bigger ones though. If you have any magnet around (even a spare speaker magnet) you should try it out that way befor you buy anything. If you notice a difference then you might go buy one?
