I mess with mine non stop, and I read the manual. Even the spanish section lol
my box only has s-video, RCA, and coax output. I'd love to have one with HDMI out, or component.

I'm using s-video.

I dont know what to tell you then. what kind of tv is it again? Check that tv forum, they might be able to help.
