Did I tell youll that the company I work for is closing down their operation in their plants and letting UPS do all the work for them, instead of us workers. heh.

They are saving money. They surprised everyone. When they dropped the news at the meeting, I laughed. I feel sorry for those people that have been there for like 10+ years though. Which is a lot of them. It doesnt affect me though. Not in like a year or anything either. They want to be closed down by Feb. Such short notice for all those people, its a shame.

Yup. I dont really need a job anymore I dont think. We'll see how the next lender reacts. Or Ill just use a hard money lender. I needed that job as a reference to get the type of loan we needed for the house we just bought. I also might get a job just to have extra money and not be sitting in the house doing nothing, wasting time when i could be making more money. Im not going to actively look for a job, maybe in December I might. Im going to stay with the company at least until the end of december.

Im not gonna lie and say I didnt like this job. Pay was decent and it was the easiest job ive ever had.

For all those other people I work with that thought they were retiring from this company, I feel really really sorry for them. They didnt take the news so well. I honestly thought people were going to jump the bosses and stuff. The company owner from iceland dropped the news. He is a weird looking guy. I wonder what the womenz look like in Iceland.

Yeah, I felt like that when Office Depot closed all of their Phoenix branches....we had the old lady in the Copying center, maybe 65yr old, and she loved it there.... sucked for her //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Which is exactly why I wanted a job. But then again if those *****es at UMD let me start in Jan, I will be doing something. So far the investing is going well. Just hope it keeps up
