Chapel hill and charlotte arnt really that close

Do they drive like what? Right-hand drive cars on the left side of the road?If so, then yes, they do.

It was weird getting used to at first but once I did it actully makes better sense somehow than the way we drive.

I'm still not quite over having a door against my right arm (that's just odd when I'm used to having my right hand on the gearshift but whatever, right?) but I reckon once I've had enough time to adjust it will feel as normal as the way I drive currently.

Yep.

Except you're using your left hand to shift since you're sitting to the right of the shifter.

The pedals are the same as well....left to right it still goes clutch, brake, gas...just under the right side of the dash instead of the left.

Getting in the left front door and sitting in front of the glovebox door was weird the first time...

My very first trip over there in 2001 was kinda funny when I first landed in Adelaide (the city Mrs Prowler lives in)

I got off the plane, collected my baggage etc, and we're walking out to the parking lot to go to her car.

I, being the Southern Gentleman my father raised my to be, immediately go to the driver's door to open it for her.

She looks at me and says "You're not driving just yet!"

I looked back, chuckled, and calmly opened her door before walking away to put my bags in the trunk (called the "boot" over there)
