Gray it could be a absess(sp?) on your tonsils. I had that this summer and was down for about a month and a half. Didn't eat for literally 3 weeks, drank only vitamin water and propel to get vitamins/good stuff in me. It hurt so bad to swallow those drinks as well. They put me on killer pain pills and a shit ton of anti-biotic and it still took forever.

Almost had to have surgery because if they get to bad it can close your throat and you cant breathe.
