Hey something I highly recommend for spray adhesive....find the general purpose kind offered by 3M if you go that route. The multipurpose stuff like u have comes out more like hairspray style, get the kind with the weird tip at the end of the nozzle. It sprays a webbed pattern and works much much better.

Just for future reference for ya, I just found some at walmart the other day. Works amazing compared to the other stuff.

DAP Wellwood contact cement, spray it with an airgun and compressor.

good as gold.

and its 20 bux per gallon

not 10 bux for a single can like 3M

i got the container of contace cement and am applying it with a bruch

so far, so good.

im not worried about the carpet coming up as it really will never be touched.

but

im terrible at seams ftl.

i don't think many people want to go out and buy an air compressor and spray gun just to do tack work, unless doing it for a living.... thats like what, about 400 bucks for the gun and compressor/hoses/DAP
