great job any pics of the new spot welds holding her together? being a bodyman i really appreciate this and for sentimental reasons i get too going throught that with my sunfire build now lol

I can see what I can do about getting some close up pics for you..

we also cut the old rockers out cause of the rotting and replaced them with ones from the donner van.. also replaced a portion of the floor in the rear since we had a drop down battery rack in the rear at one time.

i remember the van well.saw it a few times at db drag finals in the late 90's. Always good to see guys still in the game after so long. awesome work too.looks like a brand new van

I know you said because you can and you wanted.......just not sure as to what would motivate one to do such a thing? Did you all just get really bored and sat around a bonfire and came up with this plan?

What else is going into this? I also don't see anything new here. My freinds shop has done an Astro van before, but made it a stretch astro van with a pretty crazy system, granted it wasn't in the DB lanes, but was made to haul around people who like to party and what not.

I am inpressed with the craftsmanship though. So kudos on that.

I remember seeing this thing a couple times back in 2000 and 2001. Do you by chance remember ever seeing a Cutlas calia that was painted Grey using Flexstone spray paint? The setup was either 6 15" Solo barics or a pair of DD 9917 in it... We were at a couple shows that you were at back then

does sound a little familiar..

as for the van it pretty much travelled all of the east (both Canada and US)

also made it out west to a couple of shows including various finals out there as well. Back then there were no points chasers... if ran your same vehicle over the course of the year and back then it was a min 100pts...
