The RE Consultation Threads must STOP!

Have you noticed that this Subwoofer section of the Forum has become a RE Consultation thread?

Everyday it's....

- 12" this or 15" that

- Which is Louder???

- Which is Better???

Admins you GOT to do something about this!!

I propose a "This or That" section as an addition to this "Car Audio Disscussion" because it's getting out of hand.

And for support i ask if anyone agrees by voting and expresing your comments.

I'd hate to see it as another section of the forum (there's enough already)....but maybe just more enforcement of the rules?

I as well as other have tried suggesting ways of improving the use of the search function here....but apparently the powers that be don't care.

Making comparisons and vs. threads against the rules surely isn't the way to go.

I concur, a Comparison forum should handle things.

You guys are kind of rude. Come on, some guy that has never heard a certain sub would like to know if it stacks up to another. And all you say is use the search button?

What ever happen to helping people on here? Why can't we do a reasonable comparison of two drivers? Is it that hard.

That's because their answers are already there, if they'd actually extend the effort to look for them.

We can do a reasonable comparison of drivers. But, do we have to rehash that comparison 100 times per month? No. The comparison has already been made more than once, all the info is already there, they just needed to read it.

i've been trying to find some comparisons of kicker L5's and diamond cm3's but can't find it in a search so i have to make a new thread and i choose to do so on sounddomain because they aren't so eager to jump down my throat and ***** and moan about searching. i don't know how many people on this forum before me wanted to get advice on wether to get 4 10" diamond cm3's or 4 kicker L5's powered by a pg tantrum 1200.1. there is no way to improve the search. the people sitting at the keyboard decide wether or not to search. people want some advice given directly to them about there equipment. i generally search something i'm interested in and see if it seems like it's a product worth considering, then i ask questions. what is really annoying though is everybody asking re's prices

And that's fine, cause there likely aren't many (if any) topics about that comparo already. It's cutting down on the rehashing of comparisons and questions (XXX v. Braham v. 9500 v. W7, "What's a good amp for the XXX", and stuff like that) that would be nice.

Comparisons are subjective, objective, opinionated, blah blah blah.

To be honest with you, when i FIRST came to caraudio.com, i HONESTLY thought every1, the big posters atleast, worked for RE, and RE was some "MADE UP" company that robs you of ur money when you send it to them.

Like a scam.

But then i saw RE in other forums.....then i made my purchase.

Which is why i feel the

THIS vs THAT thread would prove most beneficial.

Along with some guidelines to help the search like, "Place the Manufacturesfull name in the subject line of post"

Therefore if i want Kicker and Diamond, i put Kicker Diamond, AND hopefully if there is a

"Kicker this vs. Diamond that" it will pop up!
