The Price is Right

Bob Barker is as old as dirt, and has been hosting The Price is Right for... decades. Well, just about everyone knows that he's retiring next year, and rightly so. However, there's been a mad dash to find a new host. So far, there's been a big Rosie O'Donnell scare (I'd rather see a crackhead from the corner hosting TPIR).

But here's what I think: The Price is Right is one with Bob Barker- you can't have one or the other. Bob Barker just couldn't host family feud, and Alex Trebek just couldn't host The Price is Right. That just wouldn't be right. IMO, when Bob Barker retires, TPIR should, too.

It's going to be weird, though-- what will I watch to make me better when I'm sick in bed? I think Bob Barker's soothing voice healed me on more than one occasion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

it had a good run, i think it will be impossible to replace bob barker, but they will still try to keep it going and people will show up becasue there are free prizes..............we will all miss bob barker

Seriously though, I catch that show on every now & then. Old school but gotta love it when they yell out a hot girls name, and say "COME ON DOWN!!"

Wow its finally coming to an end? I have been wondering when bob was going to throw in the towel. I agree that they can't replace him and have it still be the same show. The show will quickly go under with out him, or I think it should.

Watched it almost every day at my babysitter's since I was 4 years old. During the summer about everyday at her house until i was about 10..

Every time I was sick I watched the show. And I have even watched it a few times this year.

It will never be the same.
