Looks like starting in 2014 some car manufacturers will start to leave out the cd player completely how long before the aftermarket follows suite?
you better learn how to use that ipod give or take 5 years cds will be goneall i use is CDs. i have a ipod but i havent a clue how to use it correctly. really hard to find the song i want while im driving- got like 400 songs on it, just a clusterfuck of music
I love my 9887 and only use but yesterday when playing tones I couldn't even get 1-2 seconds without it skipping. Think I may test outa 149bt in the near future. I'd prefer using CDs over USB bt or iPod any day. A lot if the new cars have touch screens and sat radio now a days.Looks like starting in 2014 some car manufacturers will start to leave out the cd player completely how long before the aftermarket follows suite?
yea and its ridiculous! the only reason i still have the stock head unit in my g6 is because Pontiac thought it would be a good idea to wire the entire brain of the car to the headunit. so now im forced to spend the same amount on a dam dash kit as i would the cd player. i know i can still run it without the dashkit but i happen to like knowing what is going on with my car. oil life, mileage, auto light b.s, and all the other dam functions pontiac thought would be a good idea to run to the head unit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wallbash.gif.1310150c49dd52e0fbe1813a0681e5c3.gifin a lot of these new cars it's getting harder and harder to replace the head unit, a lot of the functions in the car go through it
