Why? They are fairly cheap as it is.

Thats true, but I meant the XXX. I doubt a 10 will go for 650$. I'd guess they'd be around the original price of a XXX. Just maybe 50$ more due to new power handling and looks.

if its a completely new product, one that has never even been tested, nor given a REAL price, nor given real specs, nor actually been in production, how can you comment about the price being to high when it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to know anything you are talking about.

RE's research and developement costs must be considered. I doubt they spent all the money developing a new sub with new tech in it, just so they could charge the same price as the old XXX, or to charge $50 more for 'looks'.

I got news ladies and gents.

Their not makin 15's and 18's yet since of their baskets, they had some troubles with them, but the big thing is that the 10's will be 700 and 12's will be 800, they are supposed to outdisplace 2 W7 12's. So i dont see myself getting ones, btw i got this from one of their dealers.

So I'm presuming that those prices are retail and not direct? If that's the case, it's not that much more than the "old" XXX. If I recall correctly, MSRP of the old XXX was $649 for a 12" and $699 for a 15". Only about ~$150, which isn't bad considering this sub appears to be using less "off the shelf" parts than the old one.

how can 1 12" outdisplace 2?? that would mean in theory of displacement it would have to couple for the 2 times cone area somehow?? I mean i know 4" p-p is **** impressive but that's still a lot to say. Also were those prices msrp or direct from RE? I don't have a dealer in state so i'm wondering if perhaps those prices will be better if direct from RE.

Its 5 inches not 4, and i dont know thats that the dealer said, and RE wont be making alot of these.
