The new apt.

So I moved all my crap from one apartment to my new one, just to find a bunch of issues with the place.

The new apt is literally brand new as in I am the first to live there. None of the Doors fit the jams, there is no cold water in either shower, and the clothes dryer does not produce any heat:verymad:

I already filed complaints to get things fixed at the end of last week and still no repairs have been completed.

I have already payed the first month's rent and the down payment.... what would you do?

not alot you can do just continue complaining and hope for the best .. IMO those are all things to be looked at before moving in BUT im sure they will get around to you becasue i am sure alot of people are having troubles same as you

i didnt realize till after i moved in that my bathroom doesnt have a shower. no big deal, just has to install one. problem is theres no tub surround so now my wall is all rotten and falling appart //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

my buddy just got one brand new.. they where the first to move in..

wow.. you can tell these where built just for profit..

no washer and dryer when it was supposed to have one.. they used like a concrete alab for a counter top..

just shitty finishing job... but he say's he likes it..

they were probably in a hurry to get it finished before tenants moved in. Had that happen once, shit wasn't finished, stuff didn't fit right, they fixed it eventually though. Just have to wait it out.

True, my buddies in brand new apartments seem to have a lot of simple problems like this also.

I usually get real snippy with my landlord. Seems to get him to do stuff. I believe he is scared of me though, lol!

Speaking of that I have to call the motherfawker tomorrow. Have a leak in the pipe going into the toliet.
