how many gallons is your tank? mine's 18.5gal but i fill about 16 gallons every time and i dont even get 300 miles per fillup cuz i drive all city. that's like 17mpg, pretty sad. 6spds of my car don't get any better milage either.

i usually put 17ish gallons in after about 350 miles...

thing is, i can get INCREDIBLE milage if i only restrained myself. pretty much all nissans have a gas saving feature that's enabled when driving after a couple minutes at 50-70 mph. this would allow a driver to achieve well over four hundred miles within a 16gallon fill period (my tank is wide and shallow so there's still a good amount of fuel left even though my engine's about to die) when i freeway drive it's only for a couple miles at a time and i always haul 80+. i push it a good amount though, i'm at WOT at least a couple times a week, hell maybe once a day. 4spd autos are also the ghey

the previous owner of my car managed to get 17.5 mpg and he drove entirely city (if you want to call it that). he basically frove all the way down macarthur from pch towards the airport which is about 10 miles away.

Freeways were made for wot. well i didn't have a choice. there were no brand new 6spds in the entire state when i bought the car. 6spds are always the first to disappear because of the high demand and limited production. i got a HELL of a deal on mine since the newly redesigned 2004's were being shipped in a couple days (from when i purchased). i basically got my car for the same price as an altima 4 cyl with fabric interior //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the 6spds are overrated though, they have more drivetrain loss than a fwd manual transmission should. BUT they're smooth and easy to drive, girls drive them a lot. just the other day i was parking in a shopping center for lunch and this girl parks right next to me right after in the same freakin car but a 6spd. made me look like a b!tch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

My Brother in law just sold his 02 Maxima a few weeks ago, it was a nice car. Had a lillte torque steer but not horrible. His was a 6sp. and he said he had great milage on teh highway, dunno about the town though.
