I saw an even better eBay listing once.....it was literally for Nothing.
The opening paragraph of the listing started out something to the effect of:
"The winning bidder will bid on, pay for, and win absolutely nothing. I, the seller, in turn, will package securely, affix the proper postage upon, and ship absolutely nothing."
The rest of the item description went on to describe in great detail just exactly how much nothing the winning bidder will receive.
Starting bid was like $.0.01 with no reserve and iirc the bidding got up to several hundred dollars before it was all over with. I couldn't say whether or not the seller actually got paid or not for his nothing but even as humorous as it was I wouldn't want to have gotten stuck with that Item Final Value fee just for the sake of posting a joke.
