Hey guys, I'm new to this thread but wanted to jump in with my prediction:

Chicago will win the ALC. GO SOX!

Born and lived in Ft. Wayne Indiana for 12 years, all my friends were Cubs fans so I had to be different and root for the Sox ... looks like I made the right choice. How many decades since those "lovable losers" won a WS? Is there even anyone alive today that was alive when they won their last WS? LOL

Did anyone see where Ozzie made fun of the Cubs fans after their series at the Cell 2 weeks ago? He said something along the lines of Cubs fans only go to Wrigley to drink and sometimes get to watch a baseball game while theyre there! Good 'ole Ozzie!

Anyways, Konerko hit 3 jacks tonight, including a GS, and finished with 7 RBIs! Only 2 games behind the Tigers

don't get too excited about that game, the indians bullpen handed the game over on a f*ckin silver platter

Their bullpen? Sowers was charged with 6ER last night ....

And look at the Indians record, they **** this year ... I'm surprised they're ahead of KC

1) he was charged with 4 ER. 2) 3 of the 4 ER came after he got pulled because Chris Perez gave up a grand slam in the first at bat he came in for. on paper, the bullpen gave up 6 ER that night, but in reality, they should be mainly responsible for 9.

even if they hadnt given up any runs after the grand slam the indians would have won 6-5

I'd like to see him go anywhere other than to the Yankees or the Red Sox. The Yankees have been trying to buy their championships for too long, and I just hate the Red Sox.

Yankees, and the Red Sox aren't giving up the prospects to borrow this guy for half a season. Why when they can just buy him next year?

I bet Chicago does. They did make a deal earlier for Peavy. I don't know though how willing they would be to part with prospects for a rental. Toronto may not get a lot of offers and may chose to let him walk. He will be a type A free agent and Toronto can offer arbitration and get some draft picks.
