Indians are playing better. I honestly cant believe we may move into 3rd place soon if we keep winning and the White Sox keep losing. Our team is in shambles, yet we find a way to win as of late.

Yeah, I know. Just saying it is nice to move up a little. Not to mention it is not even all-star break yet.

We have had IIRC the most injuries of any team this year. Hell 10 out of the 25 original roster are either hurt, in the minors or gone.

I don't know how we are winning with our pitching the way it is, which was really bad in the beginning of the year, especially our bullpen.

65 games into the season and Magglio has all of 2 home runs. At this pace, he'll hit 5 for the year. He is slugging 343 and has a OPS of 690. These are some of the worst numbers by an everyday corner outfield in the entire league. Not only that, he is average at best defensively and provides no speed. In a few more at-bats, his vesting option will kick in. I had thought it would be for 15 million, but it's actually 18 million, so now Detroit will be stuck with a guy who has less power than Ramon Santiago, and makes 18 million a season. I guess I should ask bigfagtheory, how long are we suppose to wait? Isn't obvious he has fallen off a cliff?

ST. LOUIS — Magglio Ordoñez, homerless in a career-high 38 straight games, is on the bench indefinitely.

And there we have it. Might as well just release him or offer a buy out. He's clearly lost it.

Tigers have to release him now. If they wait too long, the players union will file a grievance and the Tigers could lose since the union will cite that the move was financially motivated. They can't let it get too close to his option.

Leyland gets an extension. Not thrilled but not disappointed. No better options internally or externally. The Tigers couldn't go the rest of the season with a lame duck manager. Leyland makes a lot of peculiar moves. He does however win and I doubt a different manager would be much better.

All I know is I am done watching the Indians until they win more than 3 games in a row. They are playing so shitty right now it is embarrassing being a fan.

Our fawking BP is horrible! Some major changes need to be done starting with our pitching!
