If their thinking was to let go of Smoltz to get Lowe I got to question that call. It would be different if they were trying to get a young talent, but Lowe is on the decline. Red Sox sign Saito from the Dodgers. I actually really like this addition, hopefully he can be a set up guy for Papelbon or even sub for him a few times this year.
