Tigers set a team record in attendance this year. hell in 2003 they outdrew Tampa.

They'll still be 8,000 people at Rays games next season.
Team is great, fans **** for the most part. Funny when people start showing up in the LCS, yet you couldn't get 10,000 people to a game in June.

yea i understand what u mean and it pisses me off that people all of a suddn jump on the rays now like friday night at busch gardens most tampa rays fans i have seen in my life but wats funny all were new stuff no old stuff like i have the old 98's and 01's hats and greg vaughn jersey and bubba's autographs along with staurtz or however u spell his name haha, i can honestly say i have stuck by them since they have started when they played on channell 66 pax and i was happy to see them make 500

yea thats another thing look at the payroll diff thats sad when u get beat by a team that has a payroll like the rays but the rays will have money to spend since they are going to the WS and might win it they already sold all season tickets for next year

He doesn't get it. The Rays have stockpiled top tier talent and the talent has yet to reach arbitration. We'll soon see how long they can field this team.

Who cares about the Rays next year. They did a heck of a job getting to where they are for such a young team.

They surprised a lot of people, hell even me. They will give Philly a run for sure. Should be interesting series. I think it will be competitive.

With that said, I probably won't watch much of it. Can really care less who wins, but respect to both teams.

come on rays are one of the most exciting teams to watch, they can score 10 runs in the bottom 9th and win the game they have done it

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but has anyone ever noticed the similarities between the new Ray's logo and the '08 World Series logo? Even the font is somewhat similar.........just found it kind of odd:
