Actually they stopped him from his 20th win on Aug. 31 AND Sept. 6. They clobbered him 2 starts in a row. He's actually lost 3 straight starts because before the Dodgers pounded him the Padres did, convincingly like the Dodgers did. Billingsly, Kershaw and Lowe have really stepped it up as of late and Maddux is just being Maddux. Steady.
