Yankees seem to be getting great deals....I dont understand

It isn't that great of a deal for them. They only get Pudge for 2 months. They will not take the risk and offer Pudge arbitration. They gave up Farnsworth and/or a couple draft picks for 2 months of Pudge.

According to Will Carroll of Baseball Prospectus, the deal, which has been sent to the Commisioner’s Office, will send Manny Ramirez and cash to the Marlins, who will send Jeremy Hermida to the Pirates, who will send Jason Bay and John Grabow to the Red Sox, while the Pirates will get one prospect from Boston and two prospects from Florida.

Anyone see that CRAZY Tigers/Indians game tonight. 26 runs on 41 hits and 6 errors.?? Just shows how much the Tigers very much indeed need bullpen help. If Brandon keeps producing he will adequately replace Pudge.

i think its going to be a rough ride when the red sox get rid of theo eipstien...as a gm he has started to make the red sox into the new yankees...his reaction to manny in the outfield on a few plays seem to show he is getting more into coaching than doin his job.....he will be the next stienbrenner type and i half way believe what manny says look at who the red sox shipped out in the past under theo
