Never mind I remember who that is now. I don't remember Goddy ever banning me. He gave me some citation points once but that is all I remember.

But, again, it's not worth talking about anymore.

Sucks that the Braves essentially traded away a bunch of prospects for Kotchman and a middle of the road pitching prospect. They rented Teixeira for the end of last season and the first half of this season.

There was no chance he was going to resign with the Braves at the end of the season. They've really become a middle market team after being big spenders in the 90's under Turners' ownership.

At least they ended up with a good 1B with a lot of upside. The Angles were very high on Kotchman, and he's showed he can be a very good player.

Not that bad of a trade for Detroit. There won't be a significant drop off in production between Pudge and Inge. In order for Detroit to get compensatory picks for Pudge, they would need to offer him arbitration. Since he made 13 million this year, they'd have to offer at least 10 million. He is 36 years old and clearly in decline. No team will offer him 10 million so he would probably accept. Farnsworth helps Detroit win now. They add a much needed bullpen arm. They will offer Farnsworth arbitration and try to resign him. if Farnsworth walks, they will get the compensatory picks.
