**The MLB Thread**

Also got my tickets. April 6th against Chicago. 1B side between home and 1B behind the visitors dugout. Also got tickets to the May 11th game against the Yankees. Took two hours to get the tickets. Detroit could draw in 4 million fans this year.

When I win this bet you can walk around New York City in a Kenny Rogers jersey (a Mets Rogers jersey will be acceptable, but a Tigers one is preferred) and push everyone you see with a camera to the ground.

and it takes you all this time to come up with this brilliant response //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
anyways....your Indians aint getting past Detroit this year. I will laugh if the Indians dont make the playoffs (which they probably wont).

you are silly man if you think Sabathia is a better pitcher than Santana. You are such a homer lol.

BTW...get off Icetee's nuts, you always seem to mention him in your posts
Great response mang! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

They may not get past Detriot this year. Not once have I mentioned the Indians making the World series and winning it all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I would like them too and believe they can do some damage, but will be tougher than last year to get to the big show. As far as them making the playoffs, like you team didn't last year. I believe they will. Probably as a wild card, but I think they can make it. Least they won't be considered one of the biggest choke artists out there.

Also didn't say CC was better than Johan. I believe he was last year and numbers wise prove it. Johan didn't do shit last year in a contract season, which is odd. So we shall see how he does as he is a great pitcher. Still you had to fight about how much better he is than CC, when he might be better overall, but CC can hold his own and proves it each year as he just keeps getting better.

I was on Icetee's nutz? I don't believe I was talking to him. I just mentioned how Ice had more brain cells than you. Strange thing is, you fight with him just as much, lol! Your a funny man Slammed.

Didn't do shit? Look at his numbers. 1.07 whip, 235 strikeouts in 219 innings, and a pretty good 3.33 ERA.

Also it wasn't a contract year //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I thought it was a contract year for him. Even so.......it's Johan Santana we are talking about.

His record wasn't all that impressive. It was one of his off years overall.

I am sure you will come back with, wins don't mean shit! Or something retarded like that.

They don't. Slammed has come around on this. The Twins sucked last year. Beckett had an ERA of 5 in 2006 and won more game then Santana did. Explain to me how he did that?

Good hitting I suppose, which the Twins have some good hitters though, so can't even use that really.
Who is a good hitter? Castillo, Punto, Bartlett, or Tyner? Combined they have what, 10 home runs? Maybe the injured Mauer? Morneau who had a down year? Cuddyear? 4 of their starters couldn't even muster 5 home runs.

Minnesota had 718 runs scored in 2007. Here are their rankings:

Batting

BA R OBP SLG OPS SB

.264 718 .330 .391 .721 112

9th 12th 10th 13th 13th 5th

Boston in 2006 had 820 runs scored in 2006. More then 100 runs then Minnesota. Look at Boston's ranks for 2007. Minnesota's offense is way worse then Boston's. The fact you think Minnesota had a good offense is sickening.

Batting

BA R OBP SLG OPS SB

.279 867 .362 .444 .806 96

All that for nothing, lol! I mentioned that HAD some good hitters. Didn't mean all of them cumpling. God dam go get laid or something....................yeah right, that would me a miracle in the making.

You forgot Hunter also, one of their better hitters. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Cuddy was having one of his better years as well. Then Morneau was Morneau for the most part. Bartlett isn't that bad of a player, not all star, but did ok for a slap hitter. They also had a ton of injuries last year. Wasn't a year before that they were doing pretty good. Never said about how good their offense was, just mentioned they had some good hitting in those players I mentioned. Got to love when you bring up their **** *** players in Punto, then Castillo who didn't even play most of the year with them, lol! God dam, you are a trip!

ZOMG Miss America is going to throw out the first pitch at the Tigers game

Reigning Miss America and Detroit-area native Kirsten Haglund will be at the center of the Tigers' Opening Day festivities, performing the national anthem and throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before the Tigers take on the Royals on Monday, March 31 at Comerica Park.
The 19-year-old from Farmington Hills, Mich., will also perform God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch.

So you are proving my point? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Minnesota had a terrible offense and Santana got minimal run support and lost some games he shouldn't have, which means win and losses are overrated.

We all know you are too dense to provide any substance so you retort with personal attacks. It's OK, we know you are like the fat little kindergartener who thinks he can talk with the adults.

BTW 16 home runs and a 276 average is subpar for an outfielder. So don't hint at Cuddyear being good.
