What do you guys think about using instant replays during games?\

I am ll for it, although i can see why someone would be against it, but i think it would be a good thing, i mean every other National sport has it. I have seen many a momentum lost by a team over a play, be it controversial or not. Being able to review these plays would be a step in the right direction for the MLB.

Whether it goes or not, props to Selig for atleast thinking about it.

Depends on what gets replayed. If we are going to replay every out call and balls and strikes, then no I don't want it.

This whole gold glove thing is a joke. Pudge should've never won. He won it on reputation or the catcher position is extremely weak in the AL. At least half of Verlander's wild pitches could be blamed on Pudge. Also the Tigers have one of the better staffs at holding on runners. Only Jeremy Bonderman is below average at holding runners on. Pudge isn't even top 5 defender on his team. Granderson, Polanco, Inge, Magglio, and Guillen (1B) are better then Pudge. I guess Granderson has to throw himself into walls like Sizemore, or flop around like a fish out of water to get recognition for a gold glove. Apparently having good instincts, and taking good routes to the ball accounts for nothing. You have to misread the ball, and then dive around the outfield to compensate for your poor judgement.

Seriously I don't think guys like Andruw Jones are good defenders. IMO the best defensive CF is Vernon Wells. Good defense means you read the ball off the bat, take a good route to the ball, and make the play. It's not about playing shallow, the hesitating and hauling balls to the ball because you misjudged it and have to spread out for it. I like how people can knock Granderson's defense, when I bet you watched Granderson only three times at most this year.

Ive seen Andruw Jones make some incredible plays....he also gets great jumps on the ball. Lately he has been slacking a bit.

I suggest you watch Vernon Wells more. That is how the position is suppose to be played.

Yes Jones has great athletic ability and makes those great grabs, but more often then not he has to because he was out of position.

LMAO no way Polanco gets traded for Delgado //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Guillen can not play second base. If Polanco was traded for Delgado, you'd see Guillen go to 3rd, and Inge to 2B, Sheffield go to Left and Guillen/Delgado DH. Guillen for Delgado is interesting, but it makes no sense for either team.
