And all the times you flammed me for saying Renteria could go to Detroit.Renteria to Detroit for Jurrjens and Gorkys Hernandez.
Braves will start Escobar next season...saw a little bit of him, and have heard great things about him..
I didn't flame you...And all the times you flammed me for saying Renteria could go to Detroit.
However this trade disgusts me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Detroit got *****.
I'd keep Renteria in the 2 hole, but that's just me.Well most of you were. Jurrjens is a good pitcher, and Gorkys Hernandez was Detroit's second best position prospect behind Maybin. Atlanta got two good players.
I imagine Renteria will lead off and Granderson will bat lower in the lineup.
I read on my normal baseball forum that Olney said on espn that the Tigers are now the front runners for A-rod. You can take that with a grain of salt, but I wonder what they do with Inge then? 6 million per is a lot for a utility player, and I can't imagine them being able to trade him, so IMO the A-rod to Detroit is over with them getting Renteria.
But then where would you bat Polanco? Granderson batting 6th behind Guillen makes sense because of his power. Eventually I see Granderson batting 3rd after Sheffield retires. Polanco is not a disciplined hitter and is better at moving runners up then getting on base and scoring runs.I'd keep Renteria in the 2 hole, but that's just me.
I heard Olney said Detroit on ESPN today, but he sounded like he was guessing. I don't see him going there, only because I still see him coming back to NY and signing with the Yanks.
It's all right. I ain't losin'. This fool is running a Honda 2000. I'll win. Then me and my dad can roll together when he gets out of prison. It's all good. You can't bet your dad's car.
