Because it would serve Eric Wedge right for not managing him properly. There was no way he should've pitched as many innings as he did. If Carmona makes it through next season unharmed, he'll be lucky. I thought Verlander would've worn down but he was the only way to stay strong the whole season.

God you are retarded! Who cares how many innings he has pitched. His whole career he was a starter, through the minors and what not. I think you say this shit based on him being used a reliever last year. Well he sucked in the beginning as a starter, so they tried him at closer and that failed. He just had a rough go last year and has completley turned this year around. Should be the comeback player of the year. I don't get that Wedge didn't manage him right. He let the guy pitch and did an excellent job at it. Let me guess you will say the same thing about CC too right?
