I wasn't talking about Detroit in the playoffs so that is why your useless dribble is so puzzling. I was going back to the conversation earlier about Ichiro vs. Granderson, which had nothing to do about either team making the playoffs.

No but you are going on and on about like they are lol. nothing like coming back a week later to carry on an arguement that died then.........nothing posted by you will change the others minds as they know you are a detroit homer. NOTHING wrong with that but nothing stat wise you are going to put up will change anyones mind as the people you are trying to get to see your point already know enough about the stats.

What i said also shouldnt be "puzzling". is granderson going to be as good over the long haul as suzuki? has granderson done enough to be considered an all time great? he is a very good player and could be but you cant base overall greatness on one season. particularly on a season they didnt make the post season. ichiro holds a few records that are overall all time league records and single season all time records (like hits in a season). does ichiro have any world series wins under his belt? no, but he played on a team that set the all time record for regular season wins and has put up no less than very good #'s since he has been in the league.

Yet, we were talking about Ichiro and Granderson in terms of contact and plate discipline, but you keep twisting the argument to things like playoff success (which you were proven wrong) and what they have done in their careers, instead of discussing the topic at hand. I posted my prove that Granderson is a reasonably disciplined hitter, wheras no-one else has came up with anything on Ichiro.
