yanks collapse > mets collapse lol why? because the yankees are suposed to be in the world series every year and seasoned for playoff baseball. mets never have had the payroll nor the backing to make runs like the yankees do. plus yanks lost a 3 games to 0 lead in a 7 game series to a bitter rival and lost 2 of those last 4 in NY. front page of new york's news papers read "hell just froze over" lol

That shows that Granderson has decent plate recognition. Also Brandon Inge who led the team in strike outs, actually had pretty good plate discipline.

Also note Magglio and Inge fall into the same category, but Magglio bats 100 points higher then Inge, meaning Magglio is clearly a better contact hitter then Inge, but both have good plate discipline. I couldn't find anything like this for the Seattle hitters
