on a side note, magglio is having a great year. better then his best year in chicago. the great thing is, deserving tigers shouldn't miss the all-star game this year. i say magglio, polanco, and verlander make the team.

I remember a few years ago watching Perez, he's got some really good stuff, and I'm glad he's getting a chance to prove he can be an effective starter.

He probably will make it being not too many other 2baseman's are having a good season. For some reason is a weak spot this year.

Padres if they can keep their pitching roatation in tack might have a shot, but their line up is weak as hell. Brian Giles is not Brian Giles of old and hell when your best hitter in your line up all year long is Marcus Giles, then it could be a long year for them once their pitching starts to fail. Will say Jake Peavy and Chris Young look steller so far.
