He looked like he'd be a freakin' champion when he came up with the Brewers..... it never materialized in my eyes. He puts up numbers but I think they could have been much much better this far into his career.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

your saying sheffield sucked with the braves? are you retarded? he had a career year with the braveshe sucked when he was with the braves
in 2003 he had 39 homeruns, 132 rbi's, a 330 BA, 419 obp, 604 slugging percentage. that's pretty **** good. you're just crazy. he was only making 10-12 million that yearwell he might have but from what i remember he didnt do as good as he shouldve for that big salary he had
no schmidt signed a 3 year 47 million contract. a bit over 15 mil a year. the reason why the giants decided not to resign for big money is because schmidt has been injured often since 2004 and because the front office and him clashed.they let shcmidt go for 4 years 47 million but sign zito to a ridiculous contract? zito is overrated. terrible move. this offseason makes me cry and i bet slammed is ready to jump off the empire state building //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
No. He hasn't been injured much at all. I know you're a giants fan and want to stay optimistic about your team but Schmidt made 29 starts in '05 and 32 starts in '06. That is not how many starts an injured pitcher makes. Truth is they lost a proven starter and just signed the ranch away for a starter that is even MORE shaky and less consistent than Schmidt. Not trying to knock you or your team but they lost out on this one.no schmidt signed a 3 year 47 million contract. a bit over 15 mil a year. the reason why the giants decided not to resign for big money is because schmidt has been injured often since 2004 and because the front office and him clashed.
just because he made those starts doesn't mean he was healthy. he was fighting problems all year with his shoulder. look at his stats at the end of the season, he took a big fat dump. also again compare his stats in 2005, 2006 and compare to 2003, 2004. not even close. he was never the same since hurting his shoulder in late 2004. of course if i had a choice i would take schmidt but like i said he was never the same for the past 2 seasons. IMO he is not a staff ace anymore. he's just like barry zito status, just a solid 2nd starter. they both have a potential of being the staff ace. only time will tell how will pan out.No. He hasn't been injured much at all.
