you said 3/4 of the rotation won't when a gold glove when it was the relief pitching who made the most errors. why are you posting in this thread? you obviously have a hatred for michigan and detroit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifwhat position made the most errors? and it isnt like detroit will be back there anytime soon .....
they haven't really messed around. they are replacing marcus thames with gary sheffield as DH. pretty good improvement imo. idk of any pitching staff, from starting rotation to bullpen better then the tigers. i'm sure there will be some regression, but that staff should be a top 3 staff.actually i like the tigers, i have since i was 5 or 6 i just dont think messing around the position players is the way to go. i have 1 really true favorite baseball team its the red sox and then the tigers and whoever plays the yankees in the national league i like the cards (i liked whitey herzog and ozzie smith) and the houston astros everyone else i hate but only slightly less than the yanks
rodney, zumya, jones all made errors, and verlander was the only starter. leyland and dombrowski know sheffield very well. don't forget when leyland and dombrowski where in florida they won a championship with sheffield, so i'm sure if either one thought sheffield was going to be a problem, then they wouldn't have brought him inthe relievers/middle relievers are the ones that stunk it up feilding ? if thats the case thats the cheapest upgrade. i could have sworn espn said the pitchers feilding was as bad as it was when they lost 90 some odd games. i didnt even really watch the series this year because i figured the tigers in reality should have won but after they were down 2 games i knew they would lose. Leyland doesnt need superstars (pudge is but he competes flat out) i know for the most part. shef does too but he also brings an ego.....
