I'd take Figgins over Pierre.
Both have similar speed, get on base about the same amount, but Figgins has a tad more power and can play anywhere in the field.

actually figgins is a little better at obp. double the walks as pierre but strikeouts more

Thats like me saying if Magglio Ordonez steals 30 bases I'll ********** in public.

Pierre is a leadoff hitter who steals bases and scores alot of runs. Of course he's not a power hitter but he never has been. Just shut up.

he had less runs scored then granderson and a lower obp then a guy who struckout 174 times and batted in the 260's. he really is not a good leadoff hitter. his power is for shit. i mean 32 doubles (career high) when he had 204 hits, and he has a lot of speed to leg out doubles and isn't an ox like sean casey.

i don't get what your saying but if he has a normal pierre season he is not worth 9 million. i applaud dombrowski for not signing pierre, mathews, soriano, aramis ramirez, and hopefully he doesn't sign carlos lee.
