but yea....i have no idea how we are going to finish.....unless we really pull it together. Our team has been VERRRRY inconsistent this 2nd half of the season....anything could happen.

And again...we have the hardest schedule in baseball this year...and we havent really clicked ALL YEAR...yet.....whaddya know...we're still right there with the best team in baseball...Thats pretty impressive

and yes. we do **** vs. MINN this year.

and once again...for the MILLIONTH FUKIN TIME.... TIGERS LOSE.... SOX LOSE!!!

hamstring injuries are hard to come back from. ken griffey jr. sound familiar? i wouldn't count on thome for the rest of this season.

I just read in the USA today he will miss this weekend's games, but will be back next week.

Also since I seem to be the only one rooting for them in this thread, I am still pushing for the Padres to make a run. Would love to see them make it. I miss Brian Giles!

I was watchin ESPN 2 days ago and they did a segment on how the NL has to win the World Series to prove they are not an 'inferior' league. They compared the NL to the canadian football league lol. My yanks are 5 1/2 games up in teh AL East w00t... before the all star break everyone was tellin me they werent even gonna make the playoffs... w00t

that's when he is scheduled too come back, but hamstring injuries are hard to recover from. perfect example, ken griffey jr. you can't be sure how good he'll be after coming back, since they are rushing him back
