Playoffs (Home Field Advantage to Detroit)
@ Detroit : 2 games (4-6) = 2-3 = Approximately a split (1-1)
@ Chicago: 3 games (1-5) = 1-5 = Possibly 1-2, assuming that (2-3)
@ Detroit: 2 games (4-6) = 2-3 = Chicago will win in 6. (2-4)

well chicago has to make the playoffs before those playoff stats you concockted can even come into play. what happened to the phat of the nba playoff thread who said regular season didn't matter? oh and even if chicago makes the playoffs, most likely as a wild card, they will have to go through new york before they will even get a shot at detroit
i find it amusing you are so concerned with detroit, when you are on the verge of falling out of the playoffs. pitching staff is not what it was last year, and jim thome is out.

You act like the Tigers are a lock for the playoffs. Look at Boston and what happened to them. The same can happen with any team. Chicago was down 10 games 2 weeks ago. Now they stand at 5.5 out, and their pitching is still having problems. Minnesota is 6 games out. I don't worry about anything, because even if we don't make the playoffs, we won last year. Then Detroit will have to get past NY, and the way they been hitting since Abreu joined, I think every team is scurred.
