On a side note, I picked up some baseball cards today. 2006 Topps Chrome

Got a Mickey Mantle HR #80, 1 Declaration of Independance, 3 U.S. Constitution (1 of which is Washington), Ryan Howard ROY, Victor Zambrano Refractor. (8 Packs =4 cards per pack) Would have never bought them if I knew they only had 4 cards per pack. I bought a box of them for $15.

I need to go through my baseball cards. I betcha I have a small fortune in them. I have been collecting box sets from back in the early 80's and have some hand me down box sets from late 70's and have some old, old school cards from Mantle, DiMaggio, Berra and a slew of others. Also have Bonds rookie card in donruss, topps and fleer.

I was just browsing through some of my cards from the early 90's, and they aren't worth shit. Frank Thomas Score rookie card, Donruss Bowmans Best, etc....aren't worth jack now. THey used to be like $8-10. Now they are like $1-$3. Plus cards of Griffey Jr., Nolan Ryan, etc....aren't worth shit. And now these ****ers charge like $3.00 a pack for 4 freakin cards. No wonder why there aren't card shops around here anymore.

I was just browsing through a Beckett. Most star players cards are between $1-$3 from back in the early to mid 90's. I have a 93 Flair Griffey JR. and a Donruss Smoke N Heat Nolan Ryan. Also a Topps Stadium Club Cal Ripken Jr Iron Man Card. I believe the odds of getting the Ripken card was like 1:300+. Also a Mickey Mantle card from that same collection. They were valued at $20+ a piece. I bet they are only like $5 or less now.

Garland has been pitching pretty good lately, except for a shaky start 2 games ago.

Do you have a new beckett? If you could check what a mint Barry Bonds card is going for in the Topps and Donruss and fleer if you could. Just curious is all.

I'll look when I'm at work. I don't buy beckett. But when I collected cards I used to have a subscription. Is his rookie year 86 or 87?

frustrating game. it pisses me off when you walk the 8th and 9th hitters in this minnesota lineup. this hitters are not gonna take you deep so pitch to them and hope they hit it at someone, don't give them free pases.
