**The MLB Thread**

I prefer for the Tigers to beat the Twins so the Sox can put more distance between the Wild Card. Win or Lose, you'll still see me in this thread. Even if the Sox don't make the playoffs. Wonder where the Tiger fans are? In the corner pouting hoping there team doesn't collapse?

haha don't get too cocky cause the white sox beat a good team finally. bases loaded nobody out and the tigers didn't score a run. that was difference. robertson pitched well but you can't walk bartlett on 4 straight pitches. he is not gonna take you deep so make him put it in play cause this isn't the metrodome where he can just slap it on the turf and run

I can sit here and name one instance every game why the White Sox or just about any other team doesn't win for that matter. Why is it I always hear excuses as to why the Pistons didn't win or why the Tigers didn't win. If Robertson would have pitched a shutout, the Tigers would have won. Excuses...excuses. Why you even need to make them when your team is 40 games over 500.

i'm just saying bases loaded nobody out, and radke on the mound who is not a strike out pitcher and you don't score is unacceptable, and yes robertson should've pitched better. walking the bottom of the order and throwing away that pick-off throw hurt

Shit happens. It's easy to not score a run with the bases loaded. Look at the Yankees yesterday in the 10th. Bases loaded no outs. They only score 1 run. Because White Sox hit a batter.
i suppose you watched the tigers game? magglio shouldn't have run. the ball wasn't hit deep enough

No, I didn't watch the game. But I don't make excuses when the White Sox lose. Because baseball is a game of inches.

the ball wasn't hit deeply enough for magglio to tag up. trust me it wasn't inches. magglio didn't even touch home because he was so far out. mauer was standing at home waiting for magglio. it was not a good decision. a line drive to left field, shallow with the left fielder running towards home plate, and an average runner at 3rd, not a good idea
