No. Most of the players were already on the White Sox, except I traded El Duque and Joe Borchard to the Marlins for Cabrera. I picked up Gathwright as a free agent. But I'm in the 2007 season.

I had a friend that played for this guy named "Grant", I think he's a scout for the Diamondbacks or used to be. He ran a summer and fall baseball league. My friend told me they were doing a drill hitting to the opposite field, where the coach pitches the ball underhand behind a net and you hit it to the opposite field. Well one kid screwed up and pulled the ball, the next pitch came in overhand at the kids head. You wouldn't believe some of the things that coach would do. He was crazy, I'd never play for him. He was a good coach though. He produced a lot of good ball players.

that game my fastball was prolly only in the low to mid 60's and i throw a splitter that just kept hanging belt high. idk why the asshat didn't pull me. i got one out because this one dude swung so hard he fell down in the batter's box and the rf was able to get him at first

The funny thing I just noticed was that I believe the White Sox actually traded Joe Borchard to the Marlins, but I can't remember what they got in return.

Sox vs Angels (Buehrle vs Escobar)

Tigers vs Twins (Miner vs Liriano)

I think Liriano is going to be a little rusty. So if the Tigers are going to score some runs, they'll need to do it early.

Angels have been knocking the crap out of the ball, so Buehrle better not pitch like he has been the last month or two.

I think Liriano is going to be a little rusty. So if the Tigers are going to score some runs, they'll need to do it early.

Just like they did last time they faced him. Those few runs were the difference.

We probably aren't going into the playoffs. So it doesn't matter what Buehrle does. It does matter what Rogers does though because the Tigers will be in the playoffs.

i'm not sold on the red sox. there pitching is not good.

There hitting has been making up for it. Where as the White Sox hitting is just about as poor as there pitching as of late.

i just don't think they can rely on their offense. minnesota would be the team i'd worry about, however they don't have great depth at starting pitching

Minnesota's hitting isn't good enough. Morneau is about the only thing going for them. Maurer isn't hitting as good as was expected.
